Hi, I'm Garhett Langer, the founder and Chief Flight Instructor at Langer Aviation. Flying has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I have dedicated my career to helping other experience the same joy and freedom that comes with being in the air.

With over ten years experience as a commercial pilot and flight instructor, I have logged thousands of flights hours across various aircraft and environments. My journey in aviation has taken me from a 65HP 1941 Aeronca Chief to the 19 passenger Beech 1900, from Florida to Alaska, over the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone Park, and Banff, Canada; giving me a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and rewards that come with flying.

I founded Langer Aviation with a clear mission: to provide high-quality, personalized flight training that prepares students not just to earn their licenses, but to become skilled, confident pilots. I believe in a hands-on, student-centered approach to instruction, where each lesson is tailored to your unique needs and goals.

When I am not in the cockpit, you will likely find me spending time with family, hiking, or traveling with friends in my 172. I am also a firm believer in continuous learning, always seeking to stay updated on the latest aviation technology and safety practices.
